This is one great guy and extremely handsome with a classic pit look!!
Rufus loves to cuddle and be petted and he gives awesome kisses He would make a great couch potato to just hang out with and watch movies, or just cuddle. He’d be such a great guy to come home to. Rufus does love long walks and is an easy, polite leash walker which makes him a great walking partner!
Rufus loves to ride in the car, he seems like he’d be a good traveling partner. Rufus is very calm and polite in the car……he makes a good copilot, but has some trouble reading maps 🙂
Rufus gets along well with other dogs but the company of another dog(s) is not necessary. He’d be happy to just spending his time with you.
Rufus tested well with cats, but if you have a home with cat(s), we would need to test him with your cats…..since like humans, all cats have their own personalities.
Rufus tested well with all handling and when vetted, he was accepting of the vet poking and prodding and stood still for lab work, no restraint needed……there comment was Rufus was a “pretty easy going guy.”
While Rufus gets along well with other dogs, he doesn’t like to share his food or treats with them. So Rufus would need to be fed in his crate or separated from other dogs.
Rufus is crate trained, house broken and knows all his basic commands.
