Where there is dogfighting and cruelty, there is ALWAYS other crime. Communities are not safe for humans or pets as long as abusers are free. To choose to believe dogfighting isn’t happening or couldn’t possibly happen in your neighborhood or turn a blind eye is to condone it. It is happening. It is very much a problem and we must take action. Dogfighting and animal abuse of any kind effects us all. Factually, those who abuse and/or kill animals will likely and most often times do go on to commit crimes against humans. You, your pets or loved ones could be next. It’s up to us to us to report things we see or know is going on.
