Blue is thriving in his foster home with Byron, as well as with his guardian angels Lauren and Aaron, and has been learning great manners. He hasn’t had accidents in the house and has overall been very well behaved. On walks, he still shows a significant level of discomfort seeing other dogs so he continues to remain as the only dog and may very well have to for his golden years. He is incredibly loving and is so gentle with people. And he LOVES stuffed toys and tennis balls, and is said to be a great jogging buddy! Blue is finishing up a course of antibiotics for his secondary skin infection, and we are hopeful that once the infection is taken care of, his skin will heal much quicker and will be less irritating. For now, he is taking Benadryl for the itchiness as needed. He is also finishing up antibiotic eye drops for his right eye as it appeared to be inflamed. Blue loves taking his medicine in his pill pockets and is such a good boy for his eye drops! He will be getting neutered towards the end of next week.
