This little guy has such a gentle and kind energy and wow, what a face. What a privilege to experience this little guy today. Here is what we know thus far; he is around 1 to 2 years old and VERY shy. He is unsure about sounds and is scared of the leash being put on him but loves people and attention. He is quiet and calm and needs to learn confidence, which he absolutely will. He chewed up his cone and gnawed on the bottom of a dog house his first week at the facility, he’s young, so he’ll need supervised bully stick time. We gave him several treats and he took them very gently. Yesterday he played with a group of dogs and did amazing and he tested well with cats. This little boy is an absolute piece of pie. It’s gonna be exciting watching him come out of his shell. He may have the opportunity to go into a foster home in the next week or so and that foster has 2 dogs and a cat. A trainer will do the introductions. If all goes well, he will remain there while potential adopters submit adoption applications.
