Olive slept through the night in bed smashed up against me. Her farts woke me up twice but she slept soundly and peacefully through her ass explosions.
This morning she went on a short 10 minute walk, pooped, peed and ate her breakfast. I’m transitioning her over to the Honest Kitchen and she is LOVING it! It’s the grain free turkey formula.
This beautiful soul requires a home with someone who can handle her responsibly on walks (especially the first 15 minutes-when she’s full of spunk) if she see’s a cat, dog or squirrel and pulls like a party animal. Other than that, she is a total dream. I’ve found just keeping her moving or crossing the street to avoid it all together is best. She has done no barking, whining or chewing. Zero accidents in the house and she LOVES people-both Kids and adults and is amazing on the leash 99% of the time. Ideally, Olive should be in a home with older kids because she’s clumsy and could knock tiny one’s over by accident when she gets excited but that’s just a suggestion not a requirement if you’re a good parent.
Side thought rant-parents who let kids crawl and sit on their dogs are setting the dog and their kids up for failure. Teach your kids to respect animals. Don’t be an idiot.
Olive responds great to commands and she’s sensitive, gentle and is fascinated by the world, sounds and tastes. She LOVES car rides and she has a sense of humor. It’s coming out more and more.
Someone would be lucky to have Olive in there life. She deserves and needs to be an only dog and to be spoiled and loved and respected like a queen. She has overcome so much and deserves the rest of her years to be nothing less than magical.
