We are happy to report that this month the Stand Up For Pits Foundation has donated $5000 in grants to nonprofits; Ghetto Rescue (covering Spirits’s upcoming surgery), the Rescue Train (the Shelter Intervention program) Orange County Pit Bull Rescue, Love Leo Rescue and Priceless Pets Rescue in addition to covering boarding for Lola ($25 per day) as well as continuous costs associated with operating the Los Angeles County dogfighting tip line.
We will let you know the totals of what Hollywood’s Stand Up For Pits event raised for all the nonprofits who participated as well as what the SUFP Donation Drive raised! Donation Drive donations will be taken to the Lancaster and South LA Shelter’s next week for all the precious shelter animals. Stay tuned for totals and photos!
In the meantime, we want to thank all of you for your continued support which allows us to educate, advocate, save lives, support other groups nationwide who are doing great work and raise international awareness about our inherently good dogs. We are proud of the work we’re doing, we are growing every day and we are dedicated to this cause.
