A 1 year old Pitbull was found hanging on a chain by it’s neck from a bridge dead in Dekalb GA 2 days ago. We are sickened and furious about it and know you will be too. We are calling on all of you to turn this into a good old fashioned witch hunt for the sociopaths responsible for this heinous act of violence and local law enforcement is welcoming the help.

Fellow PIBBLE marchers and SUFP supporters, Stubby’s Heroes is a pit bull advocacy organization in Gwinnett County, GA (suburb of Atlanta) and they have raised a $4045.00 reward to anyone who provides a viable tip that leads to the arrest of whoever did this.
We have been saying this for years and will continue to say that NO ONE is safe in a community with humans like this in it. If you think this does not effect you, you are wrong. Factually people who abuse and murder animals will likely and most often times DO go on to commit crimes against humans. That means you, your loved one and your children could be next.
Anyone with information regarding the dog, the dog’s owner, and/or details on this murder, please call DeKalb County police at 678-406-7929 with tips.
We are asking you all to make your voice be heard and not let this story disappear. Stay diligent and dedicated until someone is arrested.

Stubby’s Heroes has stated, if within 90 days there is no arrest, they will re-evaluate the reward while working with local law enforcement and decide to either raise the reward amount or they will donate the money to Lifeline Animal Project for spay neuter efforts, and emergency surgeries, for Pitbull type dogs in Dekalb county.

*Rebecca Corry has personally called the DA’s office and left a message offering support and help.  The call has not yet been returned.
