A good human by the name of Lana volunteers at a small shelter in Texas. Lana is pictured with a precious little hippo by the name of Lexy in the attached photo. Little Lexy girl needs our help. She has been through a lot and is continually overlooked at the shelter. If we share her and her story, perhaps we can get Lexy the home she rightfully deserves. Please consider sharing her and if you live near or in surrounding areas, please consider posting her frequently so people in your area will be aware and perhaps help networking her as well. It’s always overwhelming at how many need homes and Lexy is yet another example of ignorant backyard breeding, neglect and being thrown away. Lets help Lexy!

“Hello! I am sending information about Lexy, a sweet hippo I have grown to love at the Everman, TX animal shelter. I have been with her at two different adoption events. Rebecca told me that I could send her information in and that y’all would share her. For some reason no one looks at her. She is one sweet lady who has obviously been bred. I am attaching a link of her story from the ACO at the shelter.
