Stand Up For Pits events have been raising awareness and thousands of dollars for Pitbull type dog rescues around the country for 5 years now. Countless dogs have found loving homes through our events and many have gotten a chance at life who likely would not have without the funds generated from our events. Last year we added Donation Drives to the event in each city benefitting shelter animals and those too have been tremendously successful, making all the difference in the world to animals stuck in the shelter system. While front line rescue efforts are important to us so is educating and advocating people about the truth. We believe in order to get off the giant hamster wheel that is rescue, we must think different, act different and DO different. We are dedicated to dispelling the myths and unjust ignorance that has been directed at our dogs by the media for over 3 decades in new and different ways. We created an opportunity for thousands to gather on the West Lawn of our nations capitol and be the voice of the voiceless at the One Million PIBBLE march on Washington dc and our events garner national and international attention. The more people we reach in and ESPECIALLY outside of the animal community, the more chance there is for change. Last year the SUFP Foundation donated just over 20,000.00 to rescues, educational programs, transports, high medical needs patients and front line rescue efforts. Currently we are nearing the announcement of a new program we have been working on for the past 8 months that will directly combat dog fighting. Every dollar donated, every T-shirt bought and every ticket that sells to Stand Up For Pits events enables us to save lives and create change. We want to thank you all for your tireless dedication to ending the abuse and discrimination of these INHERENTLY GOOD souls who’s lives are literally depending on us to do so. And yes, we would LOVE to come to every city to do our event and we are working on adding new cities every year.
