It’s time I personally address “The Hulk.” The 175 pound “Pitbull.” While this dog and his breeders made headlines weeks ago, I am still getting asked my thoughts and have been tagged and emailed about this over and over and over again. I never spoke on it because this type of story doesn’t deserve any of our attention but apparently my thoughts on breeders is unclear to some, so I’ll take this opportunity to clarify.

My Angel was thrown away like garbage and is nothing short of a worldly treasure. She was bred, abused, neglected and dumped. There are millions more like her who need rescuing who are kind, gentle and somehow managed to escape human violence and ignorance yet people who know better still insist on breeding. To clarify, the SUFP Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to SAVING lives NOT creating lives to sell for personal financial gain.

“Dear pitbull type dog breeders who KNOW better and KNOW how many dogs die in shelters every year but still continue to breed.
GET A JOB! You live in a first world country in 2015. Forcing animals to breed so you can line your pockets makes you an animal pimp and bad at life. Low riding muscled out Pitbull type dogs who can barely breathe or walk with super natural strength doesn’t make you a bad ass, it makes you an empty directionless human who finds your identity through innocent and voiceless lives you are treating as purposeless commodities. 85% of dogs in shelters are Pitbull type dogs and an estimated 4 million animals die needlessly in shelters every year in this country. Every time you strap a female to a rape stand, force mating or play God by making a “new version” of a dog, your ignorance, inhumane laziness and blatant lack of compassion contributes to this problem. You were born into a country of opportunity. A privilege many people around the world never get and a privilege people have given their lives for so that you can achieve the things you want to achieve if you work hard and yet you choose to consciously and selfishly contribute to the pet overpopulation problem for fast easy money and accolades. It’s embarrassing, shameful and fucking gross. I do not and will not ever support breeding until every single cage in every single shelter and rescue in this country is empty and strict laws and regulations are in place, enforced and the best interest of animals is put first. I’m disgusted by how much media attention that story received when the real media attention should be on the thousands of innocent Pitbull type dogs being bred, abused and thrown away every day. What about “responsible breeding?” When millions of animals are needlessly dying every year and shelters are overflowing, breeding more is the definition of irresponsible. It lacks all common sense and takes dumb to another level.”-Rebecca Corry
